Vale John Edwards

Very sadly, one of our founding members, John Edwards, passed away unexpectedly on Friday 13th December. John had been an enthusiastic member of our group since its beginning, and generously shared his knowledge from many years of regenerating his own property at Biarra. His warmth, kindess and sense of humour will be greatly missed.

At our last event in November, he shared that having our group visit his property last year was a highlight for him, as it was the first time he could share 30 years of achievements with people who could understand what they meant.

John shared on this site a short video that inspired him: A Man Who Planted Trees. John was a man who planted trees too, but from reading the tributes on Facebook, he also planted into his community and so many people that he met. Go well, John.
